In this picture you can see the optical phenomenon called Fata Morgana, on the coast in Northern Norway. Please click the image to get a larger view of the phenomenon. Notice how the coast (especially the small island on the left) is “miraged”. The phenomenon is a result of differences in temperature.

I almost made it to Norway this year for business, but the trip was canceled. Your photos are quite beautiful… hopefully I will see Norway in person someday.
