I love mushrooms, and looking at those pictures is making me salivate. Wild mushrooms definitely taste much better than that of the nursery grown kinds. You have some awesome pictures.

i am try to do some Macro with my old webcam,
the results are not satisfactory, any idea how to hack the webcam further for better shots.

I found a “mushroom” growing in the driveway.
It is “golden” or “apricot” colored with a stem
that sits flush with the cap. The cap has thick
vanes with ragged edges and are joined together
when they reach the edge of the cap. They have
a very “fresh” smell to them. The surface is
solid with dips in it. The edges of the cap
are ragged as well. Please help me.

You’re brave, Thomas. I have never been certain enough about any mushroom to pick it and eat it. I love your photo, though.
