I took this picture of the beautiful sunset back in July when the weather was warmer here in northern Norway. Been very chilly here lately so I wanted to see a reminder of warmer times 🙂
Notice the tern that is about to land on the rowboat. It was a bit stressing to capture the tern exactly when it was landing.

I enjoyed how the sun was hiding behind the clouds in this sunset photo. The glow in the clouds looked was really special and made a nice sight.
Hope to see more good weather like this in September 🙂

Seems like the autumn is here to stay.
In this photo you can see some bad weather coming in from the sea. Those “streaks” you see in the horizon, on the photo, is sleet that arrived at my home a few hours later. I’m not a big fan of sleet, but I think it made a cool picture.

This sunset was incredible red and I just had to take a photo of the moment the sun disappeared in the ocean. It is at times like this I enjoy living in northern Norway.

A bit earlier that day I photographed this picture. Turned out to be my most popular photo on this blog so far 🙂

I liked the light on this marsh so had to photograph the cottongrass (Eriophorum). The sunlight came seeping trough a small forest that was growing at the outskirts of the marsh. I think cottongrass is a beautiful plant with its fluffy appearance.

This photo was taken at 9PM in the evening so the sun was pretty low. 2 hours later the sun had gone behind the mountains and mist started to appear on the marshes. Check out this photo of the mist. One of my personal favorites 🙂
