Picture of snow covered forest and small village at the coast in Northern Norway

Taken with Olympus E500 digital camera March 17th 2008. Click image for larger view.
We had some fresh snowfalls overnight so the forest got a beautiful layer of snow. Seems like the spring is set back a few days..
The small village by the ocean is called Ã…, which is a very common village name in Norway.

If you look closely at the picture you can see a couple of boatsheds on the shore. These boatsheds can be seen in another photo of mine with an opposite angle.

  1. Hi,
This is a beautifully depicted ecosystem from the mountain’s forests to a small village, and down to the body of water.

The population isn’t putting much pressure on the ecosystem, and the forests are preserved. Wonderful photo, perfect ecosystem. Congratulations and Thank you for this post. –Durano, done!

  2. umas das fotos mais bonitas!
parece que é em preto e branco, se nao fossem as casas coloridas.
