The last few nights has seen more or less clear skies and since the moon was just full I had to step outside to take this picture of the moon rising above some treetops. I like the mystic feeling in this picture with the shining clouds around the moon and the treetops that makes a kind of frame in the picture. If you click on the picture and view it in large size you can get a better view of treetops.
Check out my other moon photos here. I especially like this one of the moon over a winter mountain and this picture of a “red” moon over the island Senja.
Note: This photo was photographed in the southeastern part of Norway.

That is an amazing picture..definitely worthy of a stumble!
That is one of the best photos I have seen of the moon. The way the clouds cover the moon is reminiscent of many werewolf movies! Thumbs up on this one!
great looking photography. read about your country, and it sound beautiful.
this would make great desktop wallpaper!
this is beautiful! very nice shot.
Great shot of the Moon, my favorite night time target, well done.
Et flott og stemningsfullt bilde!
All ære 🙂
this is a great example of a slow shutter release photo – you’ve got the balance just right.
and yes – it’s the kind of photo where you’re expecting a tall, hunchbacked werewolf to come into the frame any minute – and thats the essence of a great photo – it gets you thinking about what might be.
great site – i’ll be adding it to my list.
