Strong winds hit the local Norwegian village Laupstad and you can see why they built this seawall. At the current tide the seawall is 2-3 meters above sea level, but still the waves get over it.
The seawall was built in 1930s to protect the fishing boats from strong winds. It was made by hand!
It is truly amazing that is still stands after 90 years of battering.
Notice the seagull in the upper right corner of the photography. The seagulls were just floating on the strong winds and actually seemed to enjoy the bad weather 🙂
