Photo of stone and seaweed in the ocean using 20 seconds long exposure

Taken with Olympus E500 digital camera November 19th 2007. Click image for larger view.

As I’ve said before I love long exposure photos. In this picture I have captured a rock on the shore and some seaweed below the surface.
I used a 20 second long shutter speed to create the dreamy and foggy effect. It almost looks like a mountaintop peaking through some mist.

Amazing shot, I’m impressed with the lack of noise in the image for such a long digital exposure.
The fog-like effect really is stunning.

20 seconds is a long shot. Without over exposure, you have done a great job on that camera!

Thomas, you definitely succeeded in creating a dreamy image. To me, the mood of this photo is very relaxing — like something to imagine while drifting off to sleep. Well done.
