Taken with Olympus E-500 digital camera
Here is a picture of phenomenon that I have not seen often. The moon was a thin crescent and Earth reflected light on the moon. It’s called planetshine and Earthshine when the earth lights the moon.
You can also see Venus below the Moon.

anyway.. it is a rare opportunity to get a shot of the moon with Venus beside it. Good job!
