Pictures from a mountain trip filled with fog

These photos are from a trekking trip up in the mountains a few days ago. I saw some fog coming in from the Atlantic ocean and wanted to get high up in the mountains to get some pictures of the mountains above the fog. Arriving I found out that the fog was covering everything including the mountain peaks. The fog made the scenery looking very mystic so I had to take some photos inside the fog.

Here is a picture from a small valley filled with fog as the fog comes rolling in with the wind. This is at the highest altitude trees grow so this is the last trees you see when you trek the mountain.

Coming down from the peak the fog was even thicker. I was glad that I found my way down.

  1. Shaun: It was a bit eerie because there was almost no sounds except some birds in the distance. Trolls were popping up in my mind 😉
Haven’t seen “the fog”. I get too scared of movies like that 😉

  2. It is all so changeable! One minute fine the next, this. Makes me feel soooooooooooo cold just looking at this picture!
    Great shots as ever!
    Clever bugger! LOL!

  3. WOW! The photographs are fantastic…and I agree, the fog really provides a mystical feel. I’m so envious.

    Best wshes, Graham
