Taken with Olympus E500 digital camera October 11th 2007. Click image for larger view.
This photo is from a day filled with strong winds and heavy snow, but there can be nice moments even in a blizzard. I took this photo when there suddenly was an opening in the clouds and the sun shined on the mountain (it’s a mountain on Senja, Norway).
I think this scenery almost looks like it’s taken out of an old painting. Nature is the greatest artist there is, in my humble opinion 🙂

Nature may be the greatest artist, but you certainly have the talent to capture the finest moments!
Great work once again. I’d love this photo as my desktop wallpaper…

Great shot Thomas I was leaving you a comment and a storm blew thru and knocked out power for about 5 hours, I just got back here and wanted to tell what a cool shot this was, especially that beautiful burst of light on the mountain.

Hello there!
I usually am afraid of the ocean, but this is a great picture that makes me want to go on a sailing boat together with the Ryan’s they love sailing and the last time we were in Long Island, NY and spend a great time, was my first time sailing by the way… and loved it!
Take care,

That is a great view. It looks like a light on the mountain is shining. Hard to believe it is the sun.
