Taken with Olympus E500 digital camera on June 11th 2007. Click image for larger view.
It had been raining all day, but as the bedtime was closing in the weather was clearing up so I had to go for a walk on the beach.
The midnight sun helped me enjoy the walk and luckily I had brought the camera.
Who needs to sleep in the summer? Lots of time for that in the winter 😉
The village silhouette you can see in the horizon is the village Laupstad where I grew up and got my last name for. The mountains are a part of the large island Senja.

Wow, your photos are breathtaking!
I’m developing a love for digital camera and photography these days… and am planning to get a Canon for myself. Now you’ve mentioned Olympus, I might be changing my mind soon. Hehehe..
Oh by the way, I found my way here through the link you left in Blog Catalog. 🙂 Glad I clicked on it!
Yes it is indeed breathtaking. I think your photographs are very soulful and contemplative. Amazing.
This picture really blow me away! Gorgeus!
What a beautiful photo. I am looking to buy a camera too. The last Olympus we bought was 27 years ago on our honeymoon. I think this helped make the decision on what to buy.
Thanks for stopping by!
Wow! Breathtaking… Looks like an entirely different world from the one I live in.
Midnight sun… I am daydreaming about it! Wonderful capture!!
