I woke up today to snow covering the mountain peaks. It is a sign that autumn will soon be coming here in northern Norway, but it makes a pretty picture don’t you think?

This sunset was incredible red and I just had to take a photo of the moment the sun disappeared in the ocean. It is at times like this I enjoy living in northern Norway.

These flowers are called Yellow Loosestrife (Lysimachia punctata) and they flower late in the summer. I photographed the flowers in my grand mothers garden where I find lots of interesting stuff to take photos of.

I really enjoy walking the coast and observe all the life living amongst the rocks, pebbles, sand and seaweed. My macro lens is a perfect tool to take photos of all this wonderful life.

I really liked the rural look on this row of boathouses. The grass roof doesn’t hurt the scene with it’s old look. Boathouses like this represent the old fishing culture here in Norway in a good way. I hope people will take […]
